Why do I need to book a slot when ordering a costume?

We want to offer the best custom service to our customers and to do this we need to book out our time to you. We offer weekly slots only. This means we are dedicating our time to you and only you.

How long does a costume take to make?

Typically, a custom costume can take anywhere up to 14 working days to complete. We have to order your fabric in, prepare your costume for sewing, sew and finish. Stoning will be quoted based on requirements. This can all take time. When booking out a slot we recommend booking at least three weeks prior to your event. This allows for making and transit through the postal system.

NOTE: If you are booking your costume with less than three weeks spare then we cannot guarantee your costume will arrive in time.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

Yes, we charge a non-refundable deposit of £50. Once you pay this and select your date, we will then order in fabric ready for your slot date to arrive. We will also make sure we have the necessary thread, elastic, clasps, packaging and anything else we will need to complete your costume during your time slot. If you cancel your order we will not be able to refund any deposits paid.

Can I send you my measurements?

Yes, we encourage you to make the most of your custom slot by sending us your measurements. You can fill out a measurements form here and use the guide to help. If you are still unsure please contact us for support.

How do I choose my colours?

We have added several colour charts to our website. These include plain lycra, velvet, stretch net and selected patterned options. We also have access to over 10,000 patterned, foiled and metallic fabrics. If you can't see anything you like in our charts please let us know and we will give other options.
